How to Configure Telenor Internet Settings

Why Configure Manual Settings?

While most modern smartphones automatically configure internet settings when you insert a SIM card, sometimes you may need to set them manually to access 4G/LTE services if your data connection isn’t working.

Manual APN Configuration

Follow these steps to set up your Access Point Name (APN):

  • Go to Settings on your phone.
  • Tap on Mobile Networks or SIM Cards & Mobile Networks.
  • Select your Telenor SIM and tap on Access Point Names (APN).
  • Create a New APN with the following details:

Name: Telenor Internet
APN: internet
Proxy: (Leave blank)
Port: (Leave blank)
Username: (Leave blank)
Password: (Leave blank)

Save the settings, select the new APN, and restart your mobile data.

Troubleshooting Connectivity

If your internet still isn’t working after saving these settings, check the following:

  • Ensure your mobile data is turned “ON.”
  • Verify that you have an active internet data package.
  • Check if you are in a location with strong 4G/LTE coverage.
  • Ensure your phone is set to “4G/LTE” mode in network preference settings.

Need Help?

If you are still unable to connect, you can send an SMS with “internet” to 131, and Telenor will automatically send the settings to your phone.
