How to Check Telenor SIM Ownership

Why Check SIM Ownership?

It is crucial to ensure that the SIM card you are using is registered in your own name to avoid legal issues and to ensure you can recover your number if the SIM is lost or damaged.

Method 1: Using the Official PTA System (SMS)

The fastest way to verify is via SMS:

  • Open your mobile Message/SMS app.
  • Type your CNIC Number (without dashes).
  • Send it to 668.

Method 2: Using the MyTelenor App

If you have the MyTelenor App installed, you can view your registered details directly in your profile settings, which is often more convenient than SMS.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

What if I get an “Invalid CNIC” error?
Ensure you are entering your 13-digit CNIC correctly without any spaces or dashes. If the error persists, contact the Telenor helpline at 345.

Important Note

If you find a SIM registered against your CNIC that you do not recognize, visit your nearest Telenor Franchise immediately to have it blocked or removed from your record.
